Lindsay Petersen is the founder and owner of Peak Wellness Training, as well as the wellness clinic Therapeutic Massage Kneads Inc located in Calgary, AB. She initially became interested in massage therapy education as way to support her massage therapy colleagues in their pursuit of high quality continuing education. Throughout her 20+ year career while growing her clinic and her team of highly educated massage therapists, Lindsay noticed many practitioners were hesitant to take continuing education related to stone therapy due to the high cost of course registration, time commitment and equipment investment.  As a way to support her staff, she created Hot Stone Therapy – The Basics as a way to ease the financial burden and time commitment required by most stone therapy courses on the market, and to provide her team the opportunity to incorporate this highly requested treatment option into their practice. Lindsay enjoys teaching not only members of her own staff, but therapists from across the province. She believes Alberta massage therapists are highly valued and qualified health care professionals who play a vital role in delivering health care to their communities. She looks forward to continuing to grow her own skills as a practitioner, while also supporting the talented therapists she has the privilege of working alongside through her clinic and education platform.
